India and Iran have shared brotherly relation since as far back as history can recall. They have been the cradle of ancient culture, civilization and mysticism. The Culture House of I.R.Iran, New Delhi is performing various activities in order to bring more cordiality, proximity, mutual understanding and cultural cooperation among the peoples in India and Iran in line with the principles of our cultural heritage.
Keeping in view the importance of the Persian language which is a common heritage of Indian and Iranian people, the Culture House of I.R.Iran has carefully designed the Persian Language courses for those who are keenly interested in developing the skill of reading, writing and speaking. For this purpose we have Persian classes in the evening in the well-equipped laboratory with modern technique accompanied with competent teachers to impart the knowledge to the students.
We have Cassettes for learning Persian which is called AMUZISHE ZABANE FARSI [ AZFA ] or Persian Language Teaching. The cassettes related to these books are AFZA I [ 5 Cassettes ] AFZA II [ 5 Cassettes ] AFZA III [ 5 Cassettes ] AFZA IV [ 3 Cassettes ]. We also have another series of Persian Language Teaching called SADAF which comes as a package of 20 Cassettes and the books related to them is complementary to AZFA.

The Culture House of Iran has also scheduled a programme of Persian Correspondence course through which study material can be sent to the different parts where there is no provision for learning Persian classes. In order to get more benefit from the course, competent teachers are engaged for teaching. Persian course through correspondence is very interesting and simple.
RE-ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR THE PERSIAN SCHOLARS AND TEACHERS
In order to keep Indian Persian teachers in touch with the latest changes and development in Modern Persian Language and Literature as well as its colloquial and spoken form, the Culture House annually organises the re-orientations programme for the Persian Teachers as well as Ph.D Scholars. For this purpose some of the prominent Iranian Scholars are invited to participate with their Indian counterparts. In this refresher course various scholarly and culturally oriented programmes used to take place. Screening of award winning Iranian movies, book exhibition, and lectures on Indo-Iranian relations are part of this Seminar.
The students are facilitated to participate in various cultural activities like Seminar, Cultural programmes, film shows, etc.
