Kendriya Vidyalaya , AFS, Tughlakabad, New Delhi was established in 1982. It is the only Defence Sector Vidyalaya of Delhi Region which was declared a Model School in 1999-2000 by KVS . It is housed in a spacious building inaugurated by the gracious hands of Hon'ble commissioner, KVS, Sh.H.M.Cairae, IAS in February 1999. The Vidyalaya is bilingual and co-educational institution. It has approximately 1750 students on roll and the staff strength is 80. At +2 level we have science and Commerce streams.
