This Vidyalaya is located in the vicinity of Sainik Vihar, Pitampura in North-West Delhi in civil sector. The Vidyalaya running in a beautiful spacious building, is spread over 8 acres of land. the Vidyalaya was founded in the year 1984. At present there are 1700 students on roll and 90 members of staff to look after their welfare. There are four sections each in classes upto X, two sections each in classes XI and XII with Science and Commerce streams. One section of Pre-Primary has also started functioning since July 2001.
The Vidyalaya which made a modest beginning in tents has grown instrength and stature over the years and now stands proudly among other prestigious schools of this area, with all facilities and extensive playgrounds. The Vidyalaya is looked after by a local Vidyalaya Management Committee comprising thriteen nominated members. Prof.Ruddar Datt an eminent educationist & economist of high repute is the Chairman of the VMC and its Executive Committee.
The Primary Wing follows the motto ' Learning without Tears ' and teaching is activity oriented. Evaluation is carried out on Grading system.
In the Secondary and Sr. Secondary sections, emphasis is on the all round development of the child. Stress is laid on discipline and academic excellence with regular evaluation in three terms. Two streams Science and Commerce are followed at the Sr. Secondary level.
