	Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Delhi Cantt came into being in 1981 and it moved to its present location in July 1990. In 1999 it was designated as Model K.V. in phase III. All Kendriya Vidyalayas follow the same syllabi and bilingual pattern of instructions, have the same text books and the same uniform. They are the pace setting schools following the guidelines of C.B.S.E and NCERT. Preferences are given to children whose parents are frequently transferred from one regional language area to another.

It is our attempt at No.2 Delhi Cantt to impart an education which uses innovative methods. This will encourage all our students from classes I-XII, towards lateral thinking, creativity and developing an analytical bent of mind. This coupled with the capacity to view issues holistically will fully equip them to face the complexity of modern living and become instruments of transforming society for the better. Indeed, all connected with K.V.No.2 Delhi Cantt - Teaching staff, Administrative staff and Students share a common goal : to excel, to make a difference.
