Punjab Technical University [ PTU ] is a prestigious University with 80 colleges affiliated to it.
In the year 2001, Punjab Technical University took a pioneering step towards providing job-oriented technical courses through Distant Education Mode. Having realized the demand of professional courses PTU has now opened the gates to help realizing the dream of each student through various DISTANCE EDUCATION PROGRAMMES with the aim to provide "Equal Distance Education for All".
The Directorate of Distance Education of the University offers undergraduate, postgraduate & certificate courses in the Technical, Management and the other areas. With this goal in mind, the University is promoting a large number of courses in Fashion & Beauty, Hotel Management & Tourism, Paramedical & Applied Technologies, Media & Arts, Business Finance & Banking and Information Technologies.
To do so, the University has set up study centers throughout India, with the aim to provide Distance Education Opportunities to all the students, who due to one reason or the other, cannot afford to go to distant places for education and cannot attend regular classes.
The University graduates are pursuing higher education in various international universities including those in USA, UK, Australia & Canada.
In Distance Education Mode, students can now enroll with centers under direct affiliation with PTU and can earn a degree and even masters in professional studies. PTU is offering courses/degrees, which are at par with the standards of International Universities and accepted worldwide.
PTU is a member of the Association of Universities Worldwide. Therefore, a student can confidently pursue higher education anywhere in the world. PTU is reaching worldwide to provide this higher education.
Symantec Infoways is a Study Center for PTU located in Kalkaji with well Labs, Class Rooms & Library. The Students can avail of the extra Lab Facilities apart from there regular hours with prior booking for the same, which ensures their absolute familiarity with the computers. All the computers of the study center are equipped with latest configuration to ensure that students get the same environment, which they will be after successfully completing there course. It also has a well-stocked library with reference books, latest magazines on IT and other Technical Material.
The staff at the Study Center extends a helping hand to the Students to guide them in their queries related to their careers.
